  • Alaska interior re-design, a cooperation between a Croatian Slovenian company Barke Bonom and a Shangai shipyard DHS

A new interior appearance, which makes Alaska yachts more modern and luxurious, is a project by the team of experts gathered around Barke Bonom. A preliminary design results from year-long experience of sailing the Alaska yachts, as well as expert and creative ideas of all involved in this project - experts from BARKE BONOM, architects from ARHANARH studio from Zagreb, designers from Zagreb studio for design MAWA, and a Slovenian company SEA SPIRIT.

Our solutions are again primarily ergonomic and functional, which enables free and comfortable movement and performing all the usual activities on the boat, during day or night. The emphasis is on simple and likeable details, retro style and Mediterranean mood. The interior is still teak-paneled but in a different way and with the details made of other materials, which have enriched the whole yacht even more. The paneling in the cabins, as well as in the bathrooms, is made differently, the settees are differently upholstered, carried out in new shapes, and the control panel is completely re-designed, just like a number of other details which are going to satisfy even the most demanding buyers.

Those novelties are too precision hand-made, which in the contemporary era of industrialization in ship-building, guarantees additional quality and represents a great particularity. Interior re-design of Alaska motor boats is a breakthrough in the cooperation between a Shanghai shipyard DHS and a Croatian - Slovenian partner, Barke Bonom.

  • Alaska 53 the perfect combination of luxury and outstanding maritime characteristics

The countdown started with the first minutes in the New 2008! This is the year in which we have decided to present Alaska 53 to the European, particularly Croatian and Slovenian nautical public. The boat which, unlike many others, is not a more or less fortunate compromise of often contradictory whishes and possibilities, but a synthesis of all necessary for those who truly know what the sea is. The synthesis in which the maritime features of a north-American unsinkable fishing boat and a boat which provides luxury nonchalance of a Mediterranean yacht harmonically complete each other. The whole concept, as well as its elaboration, has been created by the team of experts sailing on course of Barke Bonom, and it was carried out in the well-known Shanghai shipyard DHS. All that in two equally valuable layouts: Sedan and Fly. Read more
